Prices Photography Excursions

All our trips have the same prices no matter which is the exact destination in Northern Peru. (except for the special 21 day excursions in cooperation with Commundo). Because we all have different wishes and budgets we offer a Basic Programme of 10 days for a fixed low price.

For people who want to get more out of their holiday there are various Extra Options which are explained below. The basic programme is though a complete trip without any hidden costs, even all of your meals outside of Huanchaco are included! Because we assume that all participants have a warm heart for the FairMail teenagers a donation of 135 euro is already included in the price of the basic programme. With this amount one of the FairMail teenagers can go along on the trip during the 8 days outside of Huanchaco. 

Basic Programme - 10 days: 506 euro

INCLUDED:

-English speaking tour guide
-All accommodation in a shared room in a hostal or in a family homestay.
-All meals except during the first day in Huanchaco.
-All transport during the regular part of the photography excursion.
-Entrance fees during the regular part of the photography excursion.
-Bus or Airport pickup Huanchaco.
-Introduction lunch with the FairMail teenagers and employees before leaving

.-Preparation package.

-Project donation or 135 euros allowing one teenager to come along for free.

NOT INCLUDED:
-Airplane ticket to Peru
-Bus or airplane ticket from Lima to Huanchaco (about 15 euro)
-Airport pick-up Lima (about 10 euro)
-Accommodation Lima (about 10 euro)
-Airport tax (about 25 euro)
-taxi rides outside regular programme
-Food and drinks OUTSIDE the 3 regular meals
-Photography equipment

Extra Options:
Besides the basis programme we can offer a couple of extra options you can choose from with their respective prices below.

1. Lima comfort package incoming - 1 day - 40
With this extra comfort package you don’t have to worry about a thing upon arrival in Lima and also your onward trip by bus to Huanchaco is taken care of. If you wish you can also arrange these things yourself directly with Casa Anna.

INCLUDED:
- airport pickup Lima
-1 nights stay in cosy family homestay in Lima after arrival

- breakfast in Lima

- bus ticket Lima - Trujillo in luxury daytime bus

NOT INCLUDED:
-taxi ride from homestay to bus terminal for departure to Trujillo

-other meals

2. Lima comfort package return - 1 day - 40 euro

With this extra comfort package everything is arranged for you between finishing the photography excursion and boarding your plane back home. Your bus back to Lima is taken care of, just like one nights stay in a hostal in Lima. The next day you are taken to the airport by a taxi. If you wish you can also arrange these things yourself directly with Casa Anna.

-1 nights stay in cosy family homestay in Lima after arrival

- breakfast in Lima

- bus ticket Trujillo - Lima in luxury daytime bus

NOT INCLUDED:
-taxi ride from homestay to bus terminal for departure to Lima

3. Extra beach stay in Huanchaco - 4 days - 50 euro

With this extra option you can choose to extend your stay before or after the photography excursion with 4 days relaxing in the fishing villiage of Huanchaco or visiting the other attractions around Huanchaco. During these extra days you can already get to know FairMail and the teenagers. Or take a few extra spanish lessons.

INCLUDED:
-Accommodation in shared room in cosy hostal without breakfast or family homestay including breakfast.

NOT INCLUDED:
-breakfast if you prefer to stay in a hostal
-other meals


4. Single room surcharge - 10 days - 50 euro

If you really appreciate your privacy you can request a private room with us. This is almosat always possible. Except in certain cases when the accommodations we visit during the excursion don’t have enough rooms. This will be discussed further with you during your booking. Do realize though that sharing a room with the FairMail teenagers is part of the experience.

5. Spanish lessons - 7 euro per hour

In Huanchaco we are in contact with a local language school where you can learn the basic Spanish necessary to participate in the excursion or where you can further improve your Spanish. Please remember that we strongly advise you to invest in your Spanish as this will greatly increase the amount of pleasure during your trip. Depending on the amount of days you will be staying in Huanchaco we can arrange a number of Spanish lessons for you. The Spanish lessons are private and given by an English speaking Peruvian teacher. You can decide yourself how much hours of classes you with to take. You can also choose to arrange this yourself by contacting Espaanglisch.

6. Volunteer work - 65 euro per person
Besides the possibility of volunteering directly with FairMail (minimum of 6 weeks), there are several short stay volunteer options in Huanchaco. For this we suggest you directly contact Otra Cosa Volunteer Agency.

7. CO2 compensatie vliegreis - 150 euro per persoon 

The green house gas emissions of one person flying return from Amsterdam to Lima are the equivalent of 6060 kg of CO2. You can choose to compensate this emission in a climate neutral project of Atmosfair worth 150 euro. You will receive a certificate from Atmosfair. Compared to other C02 emission possibilities Atmosfair is one of the so called Gold Standard certified projects set up amongst others by the World Wildlife Fund.
